How masters use SlotForge

A step-by-step guide to setting up a profile, services, schedule, client base and Telegram bookings.

SlotForge is a Telegram Mini App. A master sets up a public profile, services, schedule and booking rules. A client opens the master’s link, chooses a service and available time, leaves contact details and receives Telegram updates.

Important: SlotForge does not process payments from clients to masters. Service prices are shown for clarity and bookkeeping, but the master collects payment independently. The master’s SlotForge subscription is paid separately through Telegram Stars.

1. Main Cabinet Sections

  • Home - selected-day bookings, next booking, quick actions and plan status.
  • Calendar - week/month views, daily bookings, manual bookings, rescheduling and time blocks.
  • Clients - CRM, notes, visit history, debts, messages and Telegram linking.
  • Analytics - revenue, bookings, average check, clients and occupancy.
  • Settings - profile, region, appearance, services, booking rules, client data, plan and legal documents.

If a master opens SlotForge as a client, they can enter the client cabinet and marketplace. This does not remove access to the master cabinet.

2. First Launch and Onboarding

Onboarding creates the first working booking page. It can be paused and resumed later.

2.1. Region and Language

Choose the interface language, country, timezone and service-price currency.

Example:

  • language: English;
  • country: UAE;
  • timezone: Asia/Dubai;
  • currency: AED.

These settings affect how the master sees time, how clients see prices and which language the app uses.

2.2. Consents

The master accepts required consents: Terms of Use, personal data processing, public profile publication and, for launch countries, cross-border data transfer. Marketing messages are optional.

2.3. Master Profile

Fill in the public name, service direction, service audience, description and profile photo.

Good description example:

Nail master in Dubai Marina. I do gel polish, strengthening and simple designs. Visits are by appointment and usually take 1.5-2 hours.

Write briefly and clearly: where you work, what you do and why a client should book you.

2.4. First Service

Create the first service with a name, duration, price and working hours.

Example:

  • Manicure with gel polish;
  • 90 minutes;
  • 180 AED;
  • Mon-Sat, 10:00-20:00.

After onboarding the master receives a public booking link. It can be copied, shared in Telegram or opened as a client for preview.

3. Public Booking Page

Clients see the master photo, name, service direction, description, address if public, service list, available dates and the booking form.

Client flow:

  1. Choose a service.
  2. Choose a date.
  3. Choose an available slot.
  4. Enter a visit address if the service is at the client’s location.
  5. Enter name, phone and comment.
  6. Confirm the booking.

The client does not need a separate account. If they open the page inside Telegram, SlotForge can link the booking to their Telegram profile.

4. Master Profile Settings

Path: Settings -> Master profile.

The master can edit photo, name, service direction, subcategories, audience, description, address, address geo point, address visibility and the “travel to client” flag.

4.1. Photo

By default SlotForge uses the Telegram profile photo. The master can upload and crop a custom photo.

4.2. Service Direction

Choose the closest service direction, for example beauty, hair/barber, nails, massage/SPA, education, consulting, repair/service, events/rentals or other. Subcategories help clients understand the exact specialization.

4.3. Address and Location

If the master accepts clients at their place, add the address and enable Show address to clients. With a geo point, clients can open the address in maps.

If the address should not be public, disable visibility. It stays in the profile but is hidden from clients.

4.4. Travel to Client

Enable Travel to client when the master can visit clients. Address collection is still configured per service.

Example:

  • master enables travel to client;
  • the “Home massage” service also has travel enabled;
  • during booking, the client must enter a visit address.

5. Services and Prices

Path: Settings -> Services catalog.

The master can add, edit, enable, disable, reorder or delete services. Each service can have a description, duration, preparation time, displayed price, price-on-request mode, custom schedule and travel-to-client option.

5.1. Fixed Price Service

Example:

  • Women’s haircut;
  • washing, haircut and light styling;
  • 60 minutes;
  • 15 minutes preparation;
  • 250 AED;
  • active.

The client sees the price on the public page. With automatic confirmation, the booking is confirmed immediately.

5.2. Price on Request

Use Master sets the price when the final price depends on the case.

Example:

  • service: Hair coloring;
  • price is set by the master;
  • the client sees that the price will be assigned on confirmation;
  • the booking always waits for master confirmation;
  • the master confirms and enters, for example, 650 AED.

5.3. Preparation Time

Preparation time blocks time after the service.

Example: a 60-minute service with 15 minutes of preparation booked at 12:00 blocks the calendar until at least 13:15.

5.4. Custom Service Schedule

By default a service uses the master’s general schedule. A custom schedule limits that specific service.

Example: consultations are available only on Tuesday and Thursday, 18:00-21:00.

5.5. Disable or Delete

Disable services that are temporarily unavailable. Disabled services disappear from the public page but keep history.

Deletion is soft deletion. History and analytics remain. A service with active pending or confirmed bookings cannot be deleted until those bookings are completed or cancelled.

6. Booking Management

Path: Settings -> Booking management.

These settings control new client self-service bookings. Manual bookings in the calendar remain available.

6.1. Booking Availability

Options:

  • Open - clients can book.
  • Off now - new client bookings are closed immediately.
  • Scheduled - set a close or reopen date.

Example: before vacation, close booking from August 1 and reopen on August 15. Existing bookings are not cancelled automatically.

6.2. Planning Horizon

The planning horizon limits how far ahead a client can book.

Example: with a 14-day horizon on July 7, clients can book dates up to July 21 inclusive.

6.3. Booking Confirmation

  • Automatic - clients receive a confirmed booking immediately.
  • Manual - each new booking appears as pending and the master confirms or cancels it.

Use automatic confirmation for standard fixed-price services. Use manual confirmation when details, address, conditions or price must be checked.

6.4. Working Hours and Slot Duration

Set working days, day start/end and slot duration: 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Clients see only times where the full service fits and does not overlap bookings, blocks or preparation time.

7. Home

Path: Home.

Home shows the master’s day: greeting, selected date, booking count, next booking, daily list, quick actions, client page shortcut, marketplace shortcut and plan status.

Example:

  • the master opens Home in the morning;
  • sees 4 bookings today;
  • opens the 11:00 booking details.

Time and “today” use the master’s timezone.

Home also has a button to open the client marketplace. It switches to the client side of SlotForge, where the master can view other masters and book them as a client. The master cabinet remains available.

Example:

  • the master opens Home;
  • taps the marketplace button;
  • sees masters in the selected country;
  • books another master as a regular client if needed.

8. Calendar and Manual Bookings

Path: Calendar.

The calendar shows a week or month view. The selected day contains bookings and time blocks.

8.1. Create a Manual Booking

Tap New booking and choose an existing or new client, service, date, time, duration, status, payment state and note.

If the time overlaps another active booking or block, SlotForge will not save it.

8.2. Edit a Booking

You can edit date, time, duration, status, payment and note. The service cannot be changed after creation, because history and calculations depend on it.

8.3. Reschedule

Tap Reschedule in booking details. SlotForge shows available slots considering working hours, service duration, preparation time, other bookings and blocks.

8.4. Time Blocks

Use blocks for lunch, private time, travel or vacation. Blocked time is hidden from clients.

9. Booking Details

Booking details show client, service, date, time, status, price, payment, visit address, client comment, master note, attachments and the message button.

9.1. Statuses

  • Pending - waiting for master confirmation.
  • Confirmed - active booking.
  • Completed - service was delivered.
  • Cancelled - inactive and no longer blocks availability.

9.2. Confirm

For pending bookings, tap Confirm. If the service uses price-on-request, SlotForge asks for the final price first.

9.3. Complete and Debt

A booking can be completed only after its start time. Enter the amount and choose Mark paid or Record debt. A completed unpaid booking can later be marked paid.

9.4. Cancel

Cancellation requires confirmation. The master can add an optional reason. If the client is linked to Telegram, the client receives a cancellation notification with the reason when provided.

9.5. Notes

Master notes are private to the master. Use them for preferences, restrictions and important details, but do not store unnecessary personal data.

10. Clients and CRM

Path: Clients.

The master can create clients, search by name or phone, filter all/active/debtors, open client cards, keep private notes, view visit history, message clients, create Telegram claim links and import/export data.

10.1. Create a Client

Example:

  • name: Anna Smirnova;
  • phone: +971 50 123 4567;
  • notification language: English;
  • note: prefers evening appointments.

10.2. Search and Filters

Phone search works with spaces, dashes, brackets or plain digits. Filters show all clients, clients with future bookings and debtors.

For manually added clients, copy the claim link and send it to the client. After the client opens it inside Telegram, the CRM card is linked to their Telegram account.

Telegram ID cannot be entered manually. Linking works only through signed Telegram data.

10.4. XLSX Import and Export

Path: Settings -> Client data.

Export downloads clients with booking history. Import reads only the Clients sheet; booking history is not imported. Duplicates and invalid rows are skipped.

11. Messages

The master can message a client from the client card, active booking row, booking details, Home or Calendar. A conversation belongs to a master-client pair, not to a specific booking.

Messages support text and photos, unread counters and Telegram notices when the recipient is not currently in the conversation.

Limits: text message up to 2000 characters and 20 messages per minute per participant.

Telegram notices do not contain private message text.

12. Analytics

Path: Analytics.

Available periods: 7 days, 30 days, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year.

Metrics include revenue, booking count, average check, new/returning clients, top clients, slot occupancy and weekday load.

Occupancy uses the master’s working slots. Calendar blocks are subtracted from available time, and preparation time counts as busy time.

13. Region, Language and Currency

Path: Settings -> Region and format.

The master can edit language, country, city, timezone and price currency.

The City field is especially important for attracting new clients through the marketplace. Clients will be able to find masters by city, so a filled city helps the profile reach the right audience.

At the first stage, the city is entered manually by the master and is not selected from a predefined list. Fill it carefully, without typos or extra spelling variants.

Example:

  • good: Dubai;
  • bad: Dubia, Dubai Marinaa, Dubaai.

If the master works in a specific district, enter the city in the city field and put the district or exact address in the master profile. In the future SlotForge will add city selection from a list.

Supported interface languages: Russian, English, Turkish, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and Indonesian.

Supported display currencies: no symbol, AED, KZT, UZS, TRY, EUR, BRL and IDR.

Timezone affects the calendar, “today”, reminders and booking times. Check it carefully when moving or working in another country.

14. Appearance

Path: Settings -> Appearance.

Choose light/dark mode, Telegram sync and accent color. The style applies to the master cabinet and to the public page unless the client has their own appearance settings.

15. Plan and Subscription

Path: Settings -> Plan.

The plan block shows the current plan, booking limit, used bookings, Pro upgrade, promo code, subscription cancellation and refund action when available.

15.1. Pro

Pro is paid through Telegram Stars. Telegram opens an invoice and the plan activates after successful payment.

15.2. Promo Code

A 0 Stars promo plan applies immediately. A paid promo plan opens a Telegram Stars invoice.

15.3. Cancellation and Refund

Subscription cancellation disables renewal, while access remains until the paid period ends. A refund is available only within 24 hours after the last payment when supported by the plan and Telegram Stars rules. Payment support is available through /paysupport in the bot.

16. Telegram Notifications

Clients may receive notifications for booking creation, pending confirmation, confirmation, reschedule, cancellation, morning reminder and 1-hour reminder.

Masters may receive notifications for new bookings, manual confirmation, client reschedule requests, client cancellation, visit-reminder responses and new messages.

Buttons in notifications open the relevant app section.

17. Client Rescheduling

Clients can request rescheduling from their client cabinet.

With automatic confirmation, the booking moves immediately if the slot is free. With manual confirmation, the old slot stays active, the requested new slot is held, and the master confirms or declines the request.

18. Travel-to-Client Services

To collect a client address:

  1. Enable Travel to client in the master profile.
  2. Enable Travel to client in the relevant service.
  3. The client will see the address step during booking.

The client can enter an address, add a geo point and save the address as Home or Office when using Telegram. The master sees only the address snapshot in that booking.

19. Booking Attachments

When booking inside Telegram and photo upload is enabled, clients can attach images: before/after examples, desired result, repair object, room photo or other context. The master sees attachments in booking details.

20. Common Scenarios

20.1. Start Accepting Bookings

Complete onboarding, check profile and photo, add services, check working hours, preview the public page and share the link.

20.2. Temporarily Close Booking

Open Settings -> Booking management, choose Off now or scheduled dates and save. Existing bookings stay active.

20.3. Add a Booking After Chat

Open Calendar, tap New booking, choose or create the client, choose service/date/time and save.

20.4. Client Did Not Pay

Open the booking, complete it, enter the amount and choose Record debt. Later open the booking and mark it paid.

20.5. Service Is No Longer Sold

Open Settings -> Services catalog, find the service and disable it.

21. FAQ

Does the client need an account?

No. A client can book through the link without separate registration.

Can SlotForge accept client payments?

No. SlotForge does not process service payments between clients and masters.

Why does a client not see a slot?

The day may be non-working, outside working hours, occupied by another booking, blocked, too short for the service, limited by preparation time or planning horizon, or public booking may be closed.

Why is a booking pending when automatic confirmation is enabled?

Price-on-request services always require master confirmation and final price assignment.

Can SlotForge be used only as a calendar?

Yes. Public booking can be closed, while manual calendar bookings and CRM remain available.

22. Master Checklist

  • Check timezone before launch.
  • Keep active only services that can be booked now.
  • Use price-on-request for variable prices.
  • Close public booking before vacation.
  • Complete bookings after the visit for correct analytics and debt tracking.
  • Fill the city carefully so marketplace clients can find the profile.
  • Preview the public page after profile changes.
